Narrative Synopsis
To overcome the light-speed barrier in interstellar communications, the Long Range Foundation pairs telepathic identical twins: one twin travels aboard relativistic exploration torchships while the other remains on Earth to relay real-time transmissions, forcing the traveler to age mere years while their Earthbound twin grows old and dies.
Time is the one commodity that cannot be traded, banked, or recalled.
