Narrative Synopsis
Discharged Vietnam-era soldier Evelyn Cyril Gordon ("Scar Gordon") answers a cryptic classified ad on the French Riviera: "ARE YOU COWARD? Have you been trained in arms? Wanted: Adventurer to undertake dangerous mission." He is recruited by Star, a beautiful dimension-traveling Empress, to embark on an odyssey across parallel universes to recover the Egg of the Phoenix.
The glory road is great while you walk it, but what do you do the day after you save the universe?
